In nearly every aspect of his life, Rob Levine can be considered a “First Responder.” At 16, while other kids were getting in trouble or struggling in school, Rob became part of the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps as an Emergency Medical Technician for nine years. He followed up medical service with military service in the Rhode Island National Guard as a military police officer, at the same time receiving his degree in Administration of Justice from Salve Regina University.
Transitioning from military police to civilian, Rob became an officer in the Central Falls Police Department, where he achieved another First: he secured a grant to create the first K-9 Drug Enforcement Unit in his department. He took advantage of a police program that paid for law school, graduating from Roger Williams University School of Law in 1999.
He started his law firm, Rob Levine & Associates, and grew it over 25 years to serve multiple practice areas in multiple offices across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. With forward thinking and technical innovation, Rob is known in his state as the “Heavy Hitter,” and he has built a hugely successful, client-focused business with employees across the globe.
True to his First Responder instincts, Rob isn’t satisfied to just let other people solve legal industry problems. When his firm struggled with getting client medical records in a timely and efficient manner, he simply started his own company, Records on Time, to speed up the process. When he wanted reliable remote employees to grow his firm, he built his own recruitment and training company, Top Notch Remote Solutions. He wanted to see what billboard concepts looked like in the real world before committing to them, so he created the billboard preview company Drive Your Art. All those companies now help other firms solve those same problems.
His most recent venture partnered him with longtime friend and legal colleague, Darryl “The Hammer” Isaacs, to form Brain Trust Legal. Both Rob and Darryl are passionate about the growth, improvement, and positive impact they can bring to their community and industry through BTL’s MasterMind group program, yearly Summit event, and customized law firm consulting service. The Heavy Hitter and The Hammer have combined their knowledge and experience to build up other attorneys and firms.
Rob is relentless in his pursuit of improvement for himself, his businesses, and the communities and industries in which he works. He is a powerful speaker and teacher who always provides direct, pragmatic information and actionable advice.
